The ‘Elected Member Leadership Development Program’ has been designed specifically for the local government sector in South Australia. It is a series of professional development opportunities that provide both continuing and newly elected members a greater understanding of their roles and responsibilities and offers pathways to develop their skills and leadership effectiveness.

Included in this program are the four modules that constitute South Australia’s council member mandatory training requirements. For further information about the LGA’s Training Standards for Council Members please click here .
