Illegal Dumping Toolkit

Illegal dumping continues to be of considerable concern because of indiscriminate illegal activity, environmental harm and clean-up costs.

KESAB environmental solutions, Zero Waste SA, Environment Protection Authority and local government are working towards new strategies and actions to combat illegal dumping and its impacts.

This website is a tool that has been developed to help local government plan and implement an effective program to reduce and prevent illegal dumping in your local area.

A working group was developed in January 2007 to look at the issues surrounding illegal dumping. This group has helped to develop this site and other resources and to implement strategies to reduce dumping incidents.
