Future Towns Future Cities

This event is designed to be a little ‘off centre’, and will launch the ‘Festivals and Events Guide for Local Government’ developed as a Research and Development Project.

It is aimed at sharing events and festivals ideas, exploring ‘tourist economy’ and promoting the role of Event Coordinators within council while arming them with the tools to grow that area of their local economy. The event aims to capture festivals and events planned by councils and ensure these events have the appropriate rigour attached via risk management and insurance. Further that they are appropriately communicated, marketed and promoted.

Speakers will include, SATC CEO Rodney Harrex; SATIC General Manager Shaun de Bruyn and Eventful Projects Managing Director Vicky Troptsidis.

The event is aimed at metropolitan and non-metropolitan council Events Coordinators, Community and Customer Services Officers, Marketing and Communications staff, Mayors, CEOs and Economic Development Officers.
