The 2019 LGA Roads and Works Conference will be held in Renmark from 14-16 August .
The event will kick off with a welcome reception on the evening of 14 August at the Twenty Third Street Distillery. The conference will be held on 15 & 16 August at the Chaffey Theatre with a conference dinner on 15 August at the Renmark Club.
Keynote speaker, Daryl Elliot Green will set the tone for the event and talk about how you can build resilience. He will share is life experiences to help people overcome fear and reach their true potential.
Other sessions include:
- Vision for Infrastructure SA - presented by Jeremy Conway, Chief Executive of Infrastructure SA
- Resource Recovery - presented by NAWMA Chief Executive Officer, Adam Faulkner
- Recycled & Sustainable Materials in Road Construction - A case study presentation by Carmine D'Amico City of Charles Sturt
Do you want to ride in an autonomous/driverless bus?
Well this site tour is for you. Renmark Paringa Council is undertaking a autonomous/driverless bus.
Delegates will be able to see it in action, jump on for a ride (only 10-15 at a time), and hear from the staff involved about the project and speak to the engineers about the technical details.
